“Be an adventurer”
Special adventure course is designed pattern as outward bound courses for teenage boys, girls and adults adventure course. The course provides a stimulating experience of physical outdoor pursuits such as trekking, camping, rock craft (sport climbing, rock climbing, adventure) and water sports. The course is designed to install a sense of comradeship, Unity, discipline, selflessness, Leadership and concern for environment protection.
These courses develop an all-round personality in young children. To build up interest toward the adventure Sports and mountaineering.
My Mera India Conducting Special Adventure courses in Himalayan Mountaineering Institute Darjeeling for Young Boys and Girls (Age Group 12-18 Years). This Special course designed in pattern to give best for knowledge , technique and mountaineering skill to young boys and girls towards adventure Sports ,mountaineering. After successful completion of the course certificate will be issued.
About HMI, Management & Organisation
The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) is one of the premier mountaineering institutes in the world. Founded on November 4th: 1954 by none other than Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, the institute is located in the picturesque hill station of Darjeeling.
The institute is jointly run by the government of India and Government of West Bengal. It is governed by an Executive Council (EC) headed by Defence Minister as its president and Chief Minister of West Bengal as Vice President. Among the officials, a Joint Secretary from Ministry of Defence and Principal Secretary, Sports & Youth Services. Government of West Bengal are the two secretaries of the Institute. Representatives of various ministries both at centre and state government are the members of the executive council. The Chief Secretary, Govt, of Sikkim is also a member of the executive council. A representative each from Government of Nepal and Bhutan and seven distinguished persons engaged in the field of mountaineering and environment protection are also elected as members of the EC. A most experienced and competent mountaineer from the defence services is picked up as its Principal. He is the head of the Institute. |

At 3636 m, Sandakphu is the highest point in the range which offers magnificent panoramic view of Mount Everest and Kanchenjunga massif, the highest and third highest mountain peaks in the world. The trekking route passes through picturesque mountain villages crisscrossing India and Nepal.)

or airplane mode when entering trek/expedition.

memory cards for camera
- Option to Carry Sunscreen (fragrance-free).
- Always remain in group
- Your guide/mentor/leader know
the area inside the routes better than
anyone, so do co-operate with
them.
- Always respect your local
and their knowledge about the routes during
the trek/expedition.
